Who We Are!
Our platform, Fifth Friday Worship, is intended to create a space for God’s vessels to come and experience an encounter with Him by way of praise and worship. Praise is characterized as the act of magnifying, honoring, and thanking God for who He is, and the act of exalting God's great name. Worship is characterized as a more intimate form of praise, where believers seek to personalize their expression of God's worth to them and others. That’s the purpose of our Fifth Friday Worship experiences! God desires a time for worshippers to gather in His Name, in a non-judgment, free atmosphere that consists of authentic praise and worship.
Our first Fifth Friday Worship encounter took place, virtually, in October 2020. Since then, we’ve hosted 11 services, including Fifth Friday Worship services featuring Grammy nominated, Stellar Award winning gospel artist Kierra Sheard and Stellar Award winning gospel artist Kelontae Gavin. It is our goal to create a safe place where men and women can gather, collectively, and worship God. For the past few years, our community (and nation) has experienced feelings of sadness, despair, anxiety, and stress due to the pandemic and other losses. We are confident that these events will lift the hearts and spirits of God’s people.
